Additionally, because the seats are leather, they do experience cracking quite easily, especially the driver's seat. As such, I would opt to pay a little more for this feature, especially if you tend to do a lot of backing up into or out or parking spots. I find myself bumping into things all the time because of this feature was lacking. One of the major cons about this vehicle is that it does not have a rear-end camera. I had to have the airbags replaced due to a recall, but I was serviced very quickly and professionally by the dealer. With 50,000 miles on the vehicle, I have had no issues with the vehicle either mechanically or electronically thus far.

Gas mileage is very reasonable and won't break the bank.

The 2012 IS250 AWD does come with seat warmers for the driver and passenger-side seats, which is a feature that I absolutely love Additionally, the A/C and heater work very quickly and control the temperature within the vehicle very well. I also enjoy the interior as it gives the car that luxurious look and is quite spacious. I rarely ever notice that I am going above 60 mph because it provides such a smooth ride. The great thing though is that it is always a smooth ride. Upon pressing on the gas, the car does accelerate rather quickly in a short period of time. Because it essentially contains Toyota parts, the maintenance on the car is relatively inexpensive compared to other 'luxury' vehicles.

You can easily find a used model that is five-six years older for less than $20,000. The Lexus IS250 is an exceptional everyday car.
